Purpose/Mission:   

The Ridge Runner Junior Academy  is a tool for all juniors to develop interest in the game of golf, along with the standards and values that carries over  to the golf course and into everyday life. Our main focus is on giving all the juniors the proper tools to develop into core golfers that will have pathways to continue to play golf for the fun of the game  or competitively,  based on each juniors desire for the game. The biggest goal we have is just to a have fun while learning great life lessons on and off the golf course and keeping a friendly and enjoyable environment for the junior golfers.

 Overview:
The program will have three levels to it which are Q-School, Pro, and Champion. Each level will have 9 – 1 ½ hr lesson times and 4 – 2 hr playing sessions that will follow after the lesson time. All classes will run from 1:30pm – 3:00pm and will continue till 5:00pm on playing days. Each junior will be placed in the proper level based on his/her skill level. We do highly recommend each junior participates in each level to get the full experience of the program. At the end of each level the juniors will be tested on the overviews of the skills and values learned at that level and will be able to move onto the next upon passing the test, along with setting goals for the next level.

18 hole league
Tee times starting at 12:30pm
$25 entry fee

This eight week league is designed for high school students with playing experience. The format is structured similar to the one used in high school play. It will include  match and stroke play as well as individual and team competition. Playing in this league will give players valueable experience when trying out for and competing in high school golf.

9 hole league
Tee times starting at 5:00pm
$25 entry fee,  juniors play free and adults pay reduced league rates

The eight week league is designed for the inexperienced juniors of all ages. The format is a two person scramble format emphasizing fun. Special tees with on course games and challenges will introduce young golfers to the game in a less competitive atmosphere. It will give parents and children a unique opportunity to compete together.
