Marengo Ridge Golf Club is a beautiful 18 hole course nestled in rural McHenry County. The course features a front nine that confronts you with water, bunkers, environmental areas, and large undulating greens. The back nine features a more traditional style course with mature woodlands, gently rolling hills, and numerous doglegs.
Marengo Ridge Golf Club has played host to the 1999 U.S. Open local qualifier, the McHenry County Amateur in 2000 and 2001, and has hosted the Illinois PGA Stroke Play #3 in June of 2002. Chicagoland Golf Newspaper rates Marengo Ridge Golf Club 4 stars and they also rank us among the top 30 public golf courses in the Chicagoland area. |
